The Marathon Swims Virtual Challenge returns in November 2025. Your chance to take on an iconic marathon swimming distance in your own time.

Marathon Swims Virtual Challenge 2025 launches Thursday 16 June 2025.

​

Choose from the Marathon 10k, Ultra Marathon 25k or the Ultra Marathon 50k. Swim as often as you'd like over the course of the month of November in a swimming venue of your choice to achieve your distance. The event is FREE to enter. Registration opens later in the year.

 

Complete your Marathon Swims Virtual Challenge in a pool or open water, over 30 days in November. Submit your result before midnight 30 November 2025.

The challenge is ONLY available for UK based entrants. Please DO NOT enter if you're based outside the UK.
